Plans and billing

Choose a plan, upgrade or downgrade, update your card, understand email limits, and cancel.

Everything about your plan is on the Usage & billing page. Payments are handled by Stripe, so your card details never touch our servers.

Choosing a plan

Plans differ in five ways: how many calendars you can add, how often we check them, how many people can get the alerts, how many emails a month are included, and whether you get filters, webhooks, and Slack. The pricing table has the current numbers side by side.

As a rough guide:

  • Free is one calendar, checked twice a day, emailed to you. It's not a trial and it doesn't expire, and no card is needed.
  • Personal is for a household: a few calendars, checked more often, and a second person on the alerts.
  • Pro adds the fastest checks, filters, webhooks, Slack, and more recipients.
  • Business is for organizations running many calendars, with a much larger email allowance.

Upgrading

  1. Open Usage & billing.
  2. In Plans, choose Switch to this plan under the plan you want.
  3. Complete checkout on Stripe's secure page.

Upgrades take effect immediately. Stripe prorates the charge, so you pay the difference for the rest of the current period rather than a whole new month.

Downgrading

Choose Switch to this plan under the lower plan in the same way. A downgrade never deletes anything. If you'd have more calendars than the new plan allows, we pause the newest ones and show you exactly which. Their history and settings are kept, ready to switch back on if you upgrade again or pause another calendar to make room.

Email limits

Each plan includes a number of emails a month, plus a daily allowance so one very busy calendar can't use up the month in an afternoon. One email is one message: a check that finds five changes is one email, and a check that finds nothing sends nothing. Webhook and Slack deliveries never count.

Usage & billing shows how much you've used. If you reach the limit:

  • Free: alerts pause until the month resets. We keep checking the whole time, and nothing is lost from your history.
  • Personal and Pro: alerts carry on as one digest a day until the month resets.
  • Business: alerts keep sending as normal, and the extra emails are billed at the overage rate shown on the pricing table.

Changes held by the daily allowance go out the next morning.

Updating your card, and invoices

Choose Manage payment in Stripe at the top of Usage & billing to open the billing portal. There you can update your card, see every invoice, download receipts, and edit your billing and VAT details. Every payment also emails you a receipt.

If a payment fails, we keep checking your calendars while you update the card.

Cancelling

Cancel from the billing portal (Manage payment in Stripe). You keep everything you've paid for until the end of the current period. After that the account moves to Free rather than closing: your calendars stay, any over the Free limit are paused, and nothing is deleted.

Deleting your account

To remove everything, use Delete my account in the Delete this account section at the bottom of Usage & billing. It stops every calendar, deletes your history, recipients, and sending records, cancels any subscription, and signs you out. This is permanent, and the rest of a paid period isn't refunded. If you might come back, cancel instead.

See our Terms for the full billing terms.
